Mother's Appreciation Night

Had a nice mother's appreciation party last night. Of the 14 mothers there they had 80 children. Take off the four SGAs who had 5 children and that is 10 with 75. ---31 grandchildren were represented, of course we boosted those stats a bit ;-0
Nice to have a dance & intimate talk with some lovely mothers and the 2 YAs helping out.

Love & Thanks from Mum ♥

Thankyou everyone for sending mum the sweet notes, poems, songs and phone calls. It means a lot to her. Here is a note she asked me to put up for all the mothers in our family. She had to leave early this morning; Monday’s are busy for her with volunteer work all day then straight to her Aged Care course and then home by 9:30pm.

Didn't take a lot of photos on my birthday and the good ones the flash wasn't set to go off so they're too dark to use. Here's Leona & I. Not her best pose. She likes the big mirrors in our room.
Some of you know I have thousands of slides. The scanner I got with slide scanning ability isn't worth the trouble. So I'm going to try to photograph them from the slide screen. I just got a older style slide projector, still in the box in new condition at a church fete for only $20 with screen. Now I need a good digital camera. Then we'll see how it works out. Maybe you'll see some interesting shots in future blogs. ;-)

Thankyou all so much for the sweet notes for my birthday. Farrah, I don't have your email address so here I want to say your comment really touched my heart. I have very fond memories of my time with you all there too. Once in a while I look for an excuse to go back. I think I will some day. Lot's of love to all of your family and home there.
