Naming the Granny
Trying to come up with a name for this has delayed me for weeks. I wanted an avenue for my grandkids that are scattered around the world to be able to keep in touch. So some name for grandfather seemed to be in order. I've finally gotten use to 'pop' which is what Alan, Jo & Shane's son knows me as. We are nanna & pop. It's a very Aussie thing. I just don't feel like a grandpa, gramps etc. Some of the kids call me grand dad, & that's ok too.
For the title I thought of using the Japanese 'Ojisan' おじさん or the Russian 'dedushka' дедушка, which I'm somewhat familiar with. But it might be a little obscure for most people. I don't think I'd go for 'poop', popi is kind of cute.

I like the name for your blog too. You can always rename it as you go along if you think of something better. We always change our templates and everything.
JJ said "Hi Pop" the moment he saw this picture.
I guess everyone will call you whatever they want their kids to know you as but you'll always be our "Pops".
I couldn't figure how to get the picture up in that box either?
Robin here is known as "Baachan" by all the kids in the home. Just something interesting!If we all spent more time in Japan you might get away with "Ojisan" but ....no.
